Monday in Louisdog's Life

I was away fur a bit longer than usual because Mimi had too much going on. Now I am furry happy to be back at the computer.

The Vancouver days are quite short now. It is completely dark before 5;00 pm and it has become quite cold. Good thing my fur is thick like a sweater! Hazuzu is growing his winter coat as well. He is becoming fluffier every day.

Speaking of Hazuzu, last night we had chicken fur dinner. The peeps can't turn their backs on the kitty fur five minutes. This time they caught him in the act!

Hazuzu, the peeps and I had chicken last night.
Mimi took the chicken away from the cat but later she gave us both some pieces to eat. Yummy!

I keep hearing Mimi say that she is thinking about ewbecoming a vegetarian. The kitty and I hope that never happens.

Something else that happened is that we met a cool lady and her dog while we were out. They were so sweet together and they didn't mind us taking their phodograph:

A frienly human with a friendly dog.

I also want to mention a bit about Christmas. I get to shop fur none other than our good furend Christmas. I am really excited to be pawticipating in the Blogville Christmas card and pressie exchanges. I think that tomorrow Mimi is taking me to the pet store to find something that Christmas might like. Hazuzu got Arty's name, so I will find something for the cat to send to Arty. This is because Hazuzu is refusing to come shopping with us. He hates car rides, if you can imagine. It's just not fun fur him.

Shopping will be so much fun. Hazuzu and I are new in Blogville and we have never been in any exchanges with other anipals before. We think this is just grrreat!

Finally, I want to wish peace fur the whole world.

From Vancouver,

OMD OMD that reminded of the time that angel Jasper and angel Jade teamed up to devour an entire chook I had left (I thought) well out of way... Jasper cat was the main culprit of course, because Jade was not a jumper-upper... I AM a vegetarian, but had brought home a bbq bird for a group of pals coming to dinner. They had to partake of my lentil lasagne... and they enjoyed it!!! Being vego doesn't mean you would miss out Louis and Hazuzu - but there wouldn't be opportunities like this one!

It's dark by 4:30pm here and doesn't get light till about 8am. Winter in the Northern regions, eh?! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  14. You need to get that vegetarian thought right out of her mind! (In our opinion) Cats always seem to get to do things on places we dogs can't...NO FAIR! You'll enjoy the Christmas Exchange. And card exchange--ours is in the mail. Your peep will be so jealous when she sees how many you get!

  15. The christmas exchanges are so much fun. We only do the cards cause we have a lot of family to shop for (20+ grandpeeps).

  16. If our cat, Cody, had seen a whole chicken unattended like that, he would have thought he died and went to heaven! He LOVES chicken! No vegetarian for me! That lady looks super sweet. We had wanted to participate in the gift exchange this year but unfortunately, financially, this year, we can't. God-willing, next year we will! DakotasDen

  17. Crikey ..... If I saw a chook just sitting there like that I'd be up on that bench top so quick Mimi wouldn't know what had hit her. I'd have eaten the lot. I'm glad you got to have a taste Louis
