This is what it looks like. Yummy, don't you think? Look at that sauce and those green beans!
This tastes so yummy! |
The post also explains how to modify the recipe for kitties.
If you want to check it out, the recipe is at Louis the Blogging Dog, my Wordpress site.
Do any of my Blogville furriends make their own kitty or dog food? If you do, do you have any dog food recipes to share? Even though Mimi can't make my food all the time, whenever she does I look at it as a sign of love.

This looks so yummy! Mom used to cook for angel Maggie when she had kidney disease and had to be careful but she's never cooked for us.
ReplyDeleteWe get tastes of chicken liver added to our kibble every now and then. They are really tasty!!! We get green beans every night - Mom says they are a great filler-upper:)

Looks good! I should get my momma to make it for me!
ReplyDeleteThat is very nice for you to get. Our mom doesn't cook for us, we get a prescription diet.
ReplyDeleteThat looks great, we're going to check out your recipe!
ReplyDeleteOh I would love some of that nummy food!

Nothing better than a blog post with 'food' in the title. I absolutely love home cooked liver. Veggies not so much.

ReplyDeleteMy angels Jade Dog and Jasper Cat always LOVED when I made them Liver Pilaf... though Jade always managed to spit out the carrots. Peas and beans and sweet corn were fine though. Just saute the chopped liver a little before adding all the veges and rice and water (two parts water to one part rice) and allow it all to absorb into a pot of deliciousness. I would also freeze into little blocks in the summer - Liver Rice-pops anyone??? Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Looks delicious! We made dog food for our Joey dog for a few months before he passed away because he wouldn't eat his regular food any more. His favorite was ground beef boiled with potatoes, carrots, peas and barley. Second favorite was chicken with carrots, peas, and rice.
ReplyDeleteYUMMY! Momma doesn't make my food, but she does mix it up with some yummy yummy yogurt and sometimes glucosamine treats. OMD, so tasty!
ReplyDeleteLiver ~ why Louisdog I loves liver. Lee gets me these treats that are dehydrated liver and I drool puddles wanting them. I thinking your peep is a great cook.

Lady barely cooks for herself (Man is the chef in our house), she wouldn't cook for us. She does sometimes bake. It looks yummy.
